Nurturing Minds and Hearts: OURI’s Grand Opening Celebration
On October 31st, 2025, OURI Mind Care & Support officially opened its doors at Dharmawangsa Square, marking the start of a space dedicated to growth, compassion, and connection. The opening day welcomed members of the media, followed by a heartfelt gathering with family and friends on November 1, the people who have been part of our growth since day one.
We believe that this grand opening was not just about celebrating a new space, it was about inviting people to experience what OURI truly stands for: growth, connection, and mindful healing. On the first day of the grand launch, we began the session with a brief introduction to OURI by our Co-Founders: Ghianina Armand, BSc., MSc., M.Psi., Psikolog and Asaelia Aleeza, BSc., MSc., M.Psi, Psikolog. We shared our values, vision, and mission, explained what we do, and presented research-based insights on why OURI was created.

We then continued with nasi tumpengan and a ribbon-cutting ceremony as symbols of our official grand launch—marking a new and committed step toward providing excellent psychological care. Guided by our slogan, “Your well-being, our shared mission,” OURI founders hope to cultivate a community that bravely prioritizes mental health in daily life, and to create a warm, supportive space that builds trust with clients seeking mental health care.
Through our guidance, we wanted our guests to fully experience our belief in the healing process. We hosted an interactive tour where visitors were guided to explore each room at our clinic—each one symbolizing a stage of personal development and the services we offer to support it. The stages of this activation include:
Planting The Seeds
The journey began in the Kids Room, “Planting the Seeds,” where guests learned about our child and art therapy programs. The room was designed to help children feel comforted, using thoughtful interior elements, toys, and play equipment to create a space that evokes playfulness, safety, and openness. Our aim with the Kids Room was to naturally weave mindfulness, intention, and nurturing children’s natural curiosity and exploration into their experiences.
Here, participants were invited to plant seeds in small pots—a gesture symbolizing the importance of nurturing psychological skills from an early age to support healthier mental development. It also represents new beginnings and the start of personal growth.

The Growing Season
Moving into “The Growing Season,” our consultation room for individual counseling and assessments, the pots returned, this time with a small crack. The crack symbolized that we, as humans, experience both sunshine and storms in life, and sometimes they may break us, leaving a mark. Guests placed a bandage over the crack to represent how healing often comes with patience and care. In this room, we aim to create a warm space where clients can feel safe to be vulnerable, and where every experience—both the good and the difficult—is validated. This marks the beginning of acknowledging one’s emotions and journey, and the starting point of healing.

Sources of Water
The third and final counseling room is the family consultation room. We highlighted our services in this room which include group and pre-marital counseling services, showcasing what this counseling room is designed for. We conceptualized this room as “Sources of Water,” where guests symbolically watered their pots together to represent support, togetherness, and the nurturing environment that OURI strives to create.
This stage reminds us that even with cracks, healing remains possible when we choose to nurture ourselves and seek help. We are also reminded that a strong support system and a caring community also play a crucial role in helping us heal and maintain good mental health.

The Bloom Bar
The final stop was the “Bloom Bar,” our functional room and home to our Discovery Space Programs, workshops, and psychoeducation activities that inspire creativity and reflection. This space also supports group counselling, offering inspiration, motivation, and mutual support, where individuals can strengthen one another while still having room for personal reflection. We invited our guests to create their own flower bouquets, symbolizing the beauty of growth—and how we can bloom even after storms and challenges—through every season of life.
Our grand opening symbolizes a celebration of stories, people, and courage of growing. Every pot planted, every bandaid placed, and every flower arranged reflected what OURI stands for – that even through cracks, something beautiful can bloom. We’re beyond grateful to everyone who joined us in this beginning and we can’t wait to continue nurturing minds and supporting hearts in the seasons ahead.
