OURI x Carita Nara: Mom & Me Yoga Session at Raga Wellness
Yoga offers many benefits for the body and the mind, especially in cultivating body awareness and mindfulness. And these benefits aren’t just for adults but also for kids. That’s why we created a special opportunity for moms and kids to experience the power of yoga together – strengthening their mother-child bond through mindful movements.
In collaboration with Carita Nara, a travel and event planner that emphasizes on connections, OURI hosted a Mom & Me Yoga Session at Raga Wellness on Saturday, September 13th, 2025.
More than just a regular yoga class, this event combines mindfulness learning with body movements – giving both moms and children- a moment of shared relaxation, awareness, and emotional growth. The event began with a warm-up singalong led by our child psychologist, Diella Gracia Martauli, S.Psi., M.A., M.Psi., Psikolog. Ms. Diella introduced the concepts of emotion and managing negative feelings through a lighthearted and engaging psychoeducation session. Participants explored how all emotions – both positive and negative – are valid and can be expressed, while also learning ways to manage them effectively. Each mother-child pair was then invited to create a Parent-Child Agreement for managing negative emotions – giving them time to reflect and commit to how they would respond to negative emotions in the future.

After learning about emotions, participants were introduced to mindfulness – a method that can help them be aware of what they feel and notice the physical sensations on their body. Not only through understanding, participants also practice mindfulness through breathing exercises and noticing sensations using their five senses – guided step by step by psychologist Diella. To prepare participants for the yoga session, psychologist Diella encouraged each mom and child to connect physically and emotionally using their bodies.
The yoga session, led by yoga teacher Ms. Kyra, allowed participants to apply what they had learned about regulating emotions and cultivating mindfulness through body movement, poses, and breath.
We concluded the event with a warm community mingling session at Raga’s Wellness canteen area, where moms shared relatable conversations that create connections and children found new playmates.
Through this collaboration between OURI and Carita Nara, we hope every mom and child brings home valuable insights and useful tools to support them in managing daily emotional challenges with greater awareness and care. We are grateful for this fruitful partnership and to all the participants who have joined us, and will continue to create more meaningful spaces for everyone’s growth in the future.
