OURI at SunSmile Pluit’s Open House: Happy Hearts and New Beginnings

On 15 November 2025, OURI Mind Care & Support had the wonderful opportunity to participate in SunSmile’s Open House, a special event designed to support families as their children prepare to enter preschool.  

During the event, we offered a 15-minute counseling session for parents individually with Ms. Ghianina Y. Armand, BSc, MSc, M.Psi, Psikolog, one of our child psychologists. Many newly-arrived parents took this chance to ask questions, share concerns, and receive guidance about their child’s readiness for school, and other topics related with developmental or emotional concerns. It was a meaningful moment to be providing consultation and help parents feel more confident about this new chapter in their little one’s development.

The Open House also featured joyful and engaging sensory play sessions led by Little Bright Journey. Children explored a variety of playful sensory activities, a great introduction to hands-on learning that supports emotional regulation, motor skills, and curiosity.

Our team is grateful for the warm welcome from SunSmile and the parents who visited. We hope from this event, families left feeling more supported and excited for their kids’ preschool journey ahead. To continue assisting families, we also informed parents about our counseling services – including school readiness guidance, developmental screening, and art therapy. Together, we continue to ensure every child grows in a nurturing environment, with care, confidence, and connection.
