Holiday Music & Gratitude Workshop for Kids at Plataran Menteng Jakarta
On December 21, 2025, OURI Mind Care and Support collaborated with Plataran Menteng Jakarta to host a heartwarming Holiday Music and Gratitude Workshop for children aged 3–5 years. Designed especially for young children and their parents, this workshop celebrated the festive season while nurturing emotional well-being, gratitude, and parent–child bonding.
Led by our Child Psychologist, Ms. Diella Gracia Martauli, M.A., M.Psi., Psikolog, the session invited children and parents to explore the meaning of gratitude through music, movement, and creative play—all in a safe and joyful environment.

Learning Gratitude Through Music and Movement
The workshop began with a warm welcome where children and parents got to know one another through songs and simple musical activities. Using mini bell instruments, singing together, and moving to the rhythm, children were encouraged to express themselves freely while building emotional awareness and confidence.
Once the children felt comfortable, Ms. Diella gently introduced the concept of gratitude in an age-appropriate way. Through guided reflection, children were invited to think about simple things they appreciate in their daily lives—such as family, friends, toys, or favorite activities—and to practice expressing thankfulness through words, gestures, and emotions.
Practicing Gratitude Through Arts & Crafts
To help children visualize and experience gratitude more concretely, parents and children participated in an interactive arts and crafts activity. Parents helped trace their child’s hand on paper, and together they filled each finger with drawings or words representing something the child was thankful for. The activity encouraged meaningful conversations, emotional connection, and shared creativity between parent and child.
This hands-on session not only supported children’s emotional development but also allowed parents to model gratitude as a daily life skill—something that can be practiced at home through small, intentional moments.

A Meaningful Closing and Parent Connection
The workshop concluded with a cheerful “Thank You & Goodbye” song, followed by a Parents’ Coffee Chat—a relaxed space for parents to connect and have informal conversations with the child psychologist. This closing session offered parents insights into children’s emotional development and the role of gratitude in supporting mental health from an early age.
Growing Together With Gratitude
Through this workshop, we hope every family who joined brought home a meaningful understanding of how gratitude supports children’s emotional well-being and social development. More importantly, we hope parents and children enjoyed precious quality time together—strengthening their bond through these shared experiences.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Plataran Menteng Jakarta for providing a beautiful and welcoming space, as well as to our sponsors who supported this event.
